Hello everyone,
I am happy to announce that the agency provides the Independent Life Skills Program for Island Lake youth or young adults.
The purpose of the program is to assist youth approaching the age of maturity with necessary life skills such as positive relationships/support network, mental health coping skills, healthy relationships, identity and life goals vs. system.
The agency will provide snacks, bus ticket and incentives.
Independent Life Skills Program
When: Oct 15 - Nov 19, 2026 (Every Thursday)
Time: 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm
Where: 1821 Wellington Ave (FE Cultural room)
Who can attend: CIC, AYA, SYA, FE, or FS youth or young adults from 15-24 years of age
Guideline for registering for the program:
Please talk to youth and caregivers who are willing to attend the program.
The frontline workers will fill out the form and give them to me by email, drop them in my mailbox, or give them to me directly at my desk.
