Hello everyone,
The agency will be providing a training opportunity for our youth or young adults who live in Winnipeg and surrounding areas.
Island Lake First Nations Family Services presents the Job Readiness Training called Kitchi-nabeh meena Kitchi-ekwe "Big man & Big woman" Job Readiness Training.
The topics will include safe food handler course, resumes, mocking interview, job searching, money management, and entrepreneurship.
Incentives will be given to the participants who complete the program.
After training, the agency also provides work experience (40 hours) at a variety of partner organizations.
The agency will provide financial incentives and one-on-one work mentorship.
Participants must complete the program, receive certificate training, and volunteer experience at Harvest Manitoba.
